As the Manufacturing Lead, you will:
+ Coordinates and/or executes manufacturing activities according to manufacturing schedule.
+ Documents, reconcile, and/or revise the documentation of the area according to stablished procedures and standards.
+ Provides technical help and trains operators in the different technologies to optimize the operation and equipment maintenance.
+ Provides support in the introduction of new products through technical support to process and applicable technologies.
+ Performs functions and work of operator I, II and III when is required.
+ Participates in the internal inspections of facilities, health and occupational security, and/or GMP inspections if required.
+ Makes sure of follow the stablished procedures, provides assistance and direction to operators to comply with the requirements.
+ Participates in the process of shift changes of the manufacturing group, including the generation and distribution of the manufacturing activities daily report.
+ A minimum of an Associate Degree or Technical Degree in a technical field such as: Electricity, Industrial Mechanics, Refrigeration and Electronics or other related field is required. A Bachelor's Degree in technologies such as: Electricity, Industrial Mechanic, Electronics, Instrumentation, Biology, Microbiology or other related field is preferred.
+ At least six (6) years of experience in any GMP regulated industry is required.
+ Experience in Parenteral Operations, Sterile Pharmaceutical Operations Plants, Aseptic Complexes and / or Insulator Systems is preferred.
+ Knowledge in Good Manufacturing Practices, Documentation Rules, Occupational and Environmental Security is required.
+ Documentation experience is preferred.
+ Experience training operators is required.
+ Troubleshooting knowledge is required.
+ Basic computer knowledge is required. Knowledge in SAP, ePES, DocSpace is required.
+ Proficient in English and Spanish (oral and written) is required.
+ Availability to work second 3rd Shift (9:00pm-6:00am)
+ This position requires up to ten percent (10%) of travel. Ability to work extra hours and to respond to emergency calls that may require returning to the company after regular working hours of the business is required.
