Job Description Job Summary:
The Clinic Registered Nurse Leader provides leadership, knowledge, experience, and research in the management of complex patient care.

Responsibilities: Provides leadership in the application of the nursing process to client care and organizational processes and/or systems to improve outcomes at the unit or service level.
Initiates interdisciplinary projects to improve organizational performance.
Leads research and other evident-based endeavors or activities to improve patient care.
Utilizes professional standards of care and practice to evaluate unit programs and/or services.
Maintains population/unit level metrics and dashboards; uses metrics with work team to identify areas of opportunity and facilitates process and patient outcome improvements.
Develops and utilizes tools available to effectively evaluate, summarize and communicate patient??s progress toward outcomes to members of the healthcare team and patient and family; ensures effective communication and flow of information to all appropriate care providers by obtaining appropriate comprehensive patient story and transmitting that effectively to care providers.
Ensures delivery of care to individuals across the lifespan with a particular emphasis on health promotion and risk reduction services, utilizing the best available evidence.
Implements educational plans to meet changing programs or service needs for self and others, and maintains knowledge of current techniques, trends, and professional issues.
Provides leadership in identifying and addressing ethical issues that impact patient and staff, including initiating and participating in ethics consultations as needed. Qualifications Licenses/Certifications/Registration: Required Credential(s):
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition \"Compact State\" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Education:
Master's Level Degree Master's Degree in Nursing with an emphasis on Clinical Nurse Leader role required Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL) certification required Work Experience:
Minimum of three years of staff nursing experience required.
